With more than 30 years of experience in commercial construction, The Herron Group has refined a process that works. From pre-construction to post, our team works with each client every step of the way to ensure the project is completed right.
Pre-construction
The first step in commercial building is planning. Pre-construction, our team meets with the project owner to discuss and evaluate all aspects and goals of the project, including:
- Site selection and analysis
- Budget estimates
- Design development
- Permitting and other approvals
Value Engineering
As a trusted contractor, our goal is to provide high-quality projects that are within budget. To do this, our process includes value engineering, which involves evaluating the functions of a project and finding cost-effective ways to perform those functions. In order to improve the value of the project without compromising quality, performance or safety, our team of experts analyze design, materials, construction methods, and more to identify areas where costs can be optimized. This process ensures that your project will remain within budget, meet building requirements, and exceed your expectations.
Design-Build
We want projects to be a seamless and positive experience for our clients, which is why we provide full-service design-build expertise. Our design-build process allows the client to have a contractor as their single point of contact: improving communication and maximizing efficiency. This ensures that we can successfully understand the needs and requirements for each project and can integrate any additional needs that may come up seamlessly.
After discussing design ideas with the project owner, our creative design team will develop a conceptual design with detailed plans. This not only includes aesthetic, but also architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs. Our team then begins the building process, which is well-coordinated and efficiently managed, with clear communication and regular updates.
General Construction
As general contractors, we strive to create the best construction experience for project owners. We offer comprehensive implementation and oversight to elevate results and maintain an organized system. We hold ourselves responsible for all aspects of construction. Whether a project is ground-up, tenant build-out, or a renovation, our team produces project outcomes that are on time, within budget and exceed expectations.
Post-Construction
Once construction is completed, final inspections and all closeout requirements will be completed to ensure the building meets all codes and regulations. We will also ensure that the project owner is satisfied and that all needs have been met. Our goal is to build a relationship with our clients that doesn’t end when construction ends, but to gain trust for their next project.
